Addressing attendees at the inauguration of the Integrated Infrastructure Development of A.D. Nagar Industrial Estate in Agartala, Dr. Saha highlighted the marked improvement in Tripura’s industrial landscape. He attributed this positive shift to the concerted efforts of the double-engine government, backed by PM Modi’s visionary guidance. “Tripura has experienced a notable surge in industrial growth, thanks to the dedicated endeavors of the double-engine government under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership. The state now attracts heightened interest from investors, buoyed by the conducive and peaceful environment,” remarked Dr. Saha.

Drawing parallels with neighboring West Bengal, Dr. Saha condemned CPIM’s role in stifling industrial progress, alleging their penchant for slogans over substantive development. He emphasized CPIM’s legacy of fostering discord between industry stakeholders, exacerbating tensions between owners and laborers.Dr. Saha heralded the influx of industrialists from across the nation, drawn by Tripura’s enhanced connectivity and business-friendly atmosphere fostered by the incumbent government. Highlighting the importance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in bolstering regional economies, Dr. Saha echoed PM Modi’s emphasis on their development. He reiterated the pivotal role of the Northeast’s economic growth in advancing the nation’s overall development agenda.

Reflecting on historical setbacks, Dr. Saha underscored the resurgence witnessed since BJP’s ascension to power in Tripura in 2018. He cited tangible progress in the industrial sector, contrasting it with past instances of loan defaults and industrial abandonment. The event, attended by dignitaries including Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDC) Chairman Nabadal Banik, Managing Director Vishwasree B, and MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, served as a platform to underscore the state’s commitment to fostering a vibrant industrial ecosystem under the leadership of PM Modi’s government.
