Statehood Day is Celebrated and Observed at Tripura’s Agartala

Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday inaugurated the observation of Tripura Statehood Day in a function at Agartala’s Rabindra Bhavan and said that the Government is contemplating to Develop the State as multinational trade and logistics hub. Addressing the people, Chief Minister Dr. Saha said that once the Agartala-Akhaura Rail Link and Maitri Bridge are operational, Tripura will become the gateway to Southeast Asia. Also, it will increase trade and employment opportunities as well.

He said that since the establishment of the present Government in the State since 2018, initiatives have been taken to develop the State’s infrastructure, communication, public welfare, health, education, industry, sports, agriculture and culture. Power Minister Ratanlal Nath, Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and Sports Minister Tinku Roy were among others present in this function.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi thinks about the overall Development of every individual of the Country. As a result, for the last 10 years, the people of the country have received one after another people-oriented projects. The Chief Minister underlined the achievement of the Government and claimed that the state of Tripura is progressing fast in terms of Development.
