Chief Minister of Tripura appeals at North Eastern Council meeting for effortless Trade barriers to be made with Bangladesh

Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Saha who is visited to Shillong to attend 71st Meeting of North Eastern Council (NEC), has made made six major requests including easing effortless barriers for Trade with Bangladesh, upgrading Tripura Medical College into AIIMS like institute and setting up of Medical College in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.

Tripura Chief Minister, who left Tripura on Thursday for Shillong, has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for giving their special attention towards the Development of Tripura state.

He further highlighted the demands and he said, In my speech, I also requested for increase in allocation of NEC funds, upgrading TMC into AIIMS like institute, setting up Medical College in TTAADC area, Increase in Natural Gas allocation for industrial purpose, Early to carry out Agartala-Cox Baazar International flight, Easing ceiling on borrowing under Externally Aided Projects and easing barriers for Trade with Bangladesh etc.
