In Agartala, founder of Tipra Motha and Royal Scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma made a pointed remark about the CPIM and Congress, asserting their slim chances of success not only in Tripura but also in other parts of the state. Pradyot, arriving at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala alongside East and West Tripura BJP candidates, including Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma, disclosed that the decision stemmed from extensive discussions between BJP and Tipra Motha.

“We have forged a historic agreement, similar to ones in the past. I am pleased that a candidate from our faction, my sister, has been selected to represent. We aim for seamless implementation of our agreement and seek to appoint the most suitable candidate who will address our issues within a set timeframe,” he stated.

Pradyot expressed his reluctance to engage in internal politics but asserted his readiness to confront those who have wronged him. “I stand with my people, fighting for their welfare. Those who have been in power for over 25 years have shown their allegiance. Their chances of victory are slim,” he emphasized to reporters.

Meanwhile, Kriti Singh Debbarma, Pradyot’s elder sister and BJP candidate for the East Tripura (ST) seat, affirmed her commitment to serve the people of Tripura diligently.
