The Rajkot Test ended in four days. India showed power with the bat. Yasaswi Jaiswal scored a double century in the second innings. England came out to bat with a target of 557 runs. Their innings ended with just 122 runs. Rohit Sharma won the match with 434 runs. This is India’s highest margin of victory in Test history. Earlier, their record win against New Zealand was 372 runs. The win in Rajkot took India 2-1 up in the five-match series.

Kuldeep Yadav started batting with Shubman Gill on the morning of the fourth day. Better go down as a night watchman. Kuldeep was playing. He was taking the team’s run forward with Shubman. Shubman was slowly moving towards his century. He scored a century in the second innings in the previous Test as well. But after 91 runs Shubman was run out due to a misunderstanding. Kuldeep got out after scoring 27 runs.

Yasaswi retired at the end of the third day with a back injury. After Shubman got out on the fourth day, he came out to bat. It didn’t seem like there was any back problem. Same mood from the start. Sarfaraz Khan started batting fluently with him. He was batting like in the first innings. The two batsmen were taking the team’s runs out of England’s reach.

Yasaswi completes his double hundred. Earlier, he scored a double century in the first innings in the Test as well. Yasaswi hit a world record of 12 sixes. This record was held by Wasim Akram in one innings in Tests. He hit 12 sixes in an innings against Zimbabwe in 1996. Yasaswi hit 12 sixes in Rajkot. If he didn’t declare, he could have topped Akram and hit the highest number of hits single-handedly.
