Virat Kohli did not get exemption. He was fined 50 percent of the match fee for violating the code of conduct. Kohli had an argument with the umpires after being dismissed against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Sunday. It has violated the rules of conduct of the competition.

Kohli was punished by the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) based on the match referee’s report.
