Tripura assembly passes resolution thanking PM Modi for Ram Mandir consecration

The Tripura Legislative Assembly convened on Monday to unanimously pass a resolution extending heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering dedication in the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Presented by BJP legislator Kishore Barman following the question hour, the resolution symbolized the collective appreciation for PM Modi’s pivotal role in fulfilling the sacred duty of performing the pran pratishtha of Ram Lalla on January 22nd. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath for the opportunity, Barman emphasized that the historic event, marking the consecration after 500 years, transcended mere ritualism, serving as a source of confidence for millions of people.

Highlighting the universal significance of Lord Ram, Barman emphasized that the consecration resonated not only with Hindus but also with millions from diverse faiths, serving as a beacon of inspiration and reminding individuals of their responsibilities towards the nation.

Barman lauded Prime Minister Modi’s exemplary commitment, noting his 11-day fast and endurance of chilly weather while sleeping on the floor to uphold the sanctity of the process. He applauded Modi for facilitating the consecration of Ram Lalla and opening the doors of the temple to devotees who had long awaited the opportunity to offer prayers in Ayodhya. In a solemn tribute, Barman honored those who sacrificed their lives over the years for the construction of the Ram temple, while expressing profound gratitude to Modi for his demonstration of ‘Raj Dharma,’ exemplifying equal respect for all religions.
