With an eye on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Rajib Bhattacharya, the president of Tripura BJP, spearheaded a crucial organizational meeting of the Janajati Morcha (tribal wing) on Tuesday, underlining the imperative of fortifying the party’s structure. Convening at the BJP state party office in Agartala, Bhattacharya announced the formation of a new committee for the BJP Janajati Morcha in Tripura, appointing former MLA Parimal Debbarma as its president.
The inaugural session of the newly constituted committee focused on galvanizing efforts for the imminent Lok Sabha elections. “The core objective of our gathering is to devise strategies aimed at bolstering our organizational framework, intensifying our outreach, and extending our footprint in Janajati-dominated regions.
With the Lok Sabha polls on the horizon, we deliberated on enhancing our organizational prowess. Both the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government led by Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha are steadfastly dedicated to the development and welfare of indigenous communities. It’s imperative that we launch an extensive outreach program to showcase these developmental initiatives,” remarked Bhattacharya.
