The facelifted Kiger’s August 24, 2025, launch date has been confirmed by Renault India with the presentation of the first teaser. Following the recent Triber facelift as part of Renault’s “Rethink” brand reinvention strategy, this will be the tiny SUV’s first significant update since its launch in 2021. A smoked-out reverse light section, new B-pillar graphics, and a new green color option are all revealed in the teaser. Mild cosmetic changes, such as improved lighting, redesigned bumpers, and perhaps even new fog lamps, are suggested by spy photos. The alloy wheel design and sheet metal panels are anticipated to stay the same, and the Kiger will also have Renault’s new diamond badge.

Although the inside has not yet been unveiled by Renault, the facelift is anticipated to bring a new floating touchscreen infotainment system, new upholstery, and a redesigned dashboard. Soft-touch materials and modern ambient lighting are examples of potential feature upgrades. In keeping with the Triber, the Kiger might also come equipped with six airbags as standard, in addition to additional safety features. The present powertrain lineup will be maintained with the facelift: a 1.0-liter normally aspirated gasoline engine with 72 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT, and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 100 horsepower and 160 Nm of peak torque mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT. Both are prepared for E20 fuel. Currently, Renault offers dealer-fitted CNG systems with a three-year warranty for Rs 75,000. The Kiger facelift will still square off against the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Toyota Taisor, Maruti Fronx, and Skoda Kylaq in the fiercely competitive sub-4m SUV market. The price of the upgraded Kiger is anticipated to slightly increase from the present model, which is priced between Rs 6.15 lakh and Rs 11.23 lakh (ex-showroom).
