Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, arrived in Agartala this evening to participate in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas program and review ongoing DoNER schemes in Tripura.
Upon his arrival at MBB Airport, Scindia was warmly received by BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, and BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma. Scindia’s visit to Tripura follows recent stops in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Nagaland as part of a broader Northeast engagement tour.
Scheduled events tomorrow include his participation in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebrations, which honor the contributions of India’s tribal communities, as well as a review meeting on DoNER projects. Following these engagements, the Union Minister will proceed to Shillong, Meghalaya, to attend the Cherry Blossom Festival, highlighting the cultural vibrancy of the northeastern states.
