Actor Taapsee Pannu challenges the ongoing debate over nepotism in Bollywood, arguing that the influential families make it unfriendly for outsiders, despite the ongoing debate in the film industry.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, the actor shared her perspective on the insider-outsider debate in Tinsel Town. She emphasized the positive aspects of people having family members in the industry, such as parents or siblings, and how they can help maintain unity and support each other. Taapsee believes that this approach can help break down the nepotism prevalent in the industry and promote a more supportive and collaborative environment.

The actor, who made her Telugu film debut in 2010 and later in Tamil in 2011, emphasized the importance of respect and understanding among the industry’s youth. She compared the insecurity felt by outsiders to the respect they have for each other, stating that they are used to hustling and racing ahead, leading to a strong sense of respect and solidarity. The actor also noted that the vibe of supporting each other’s work is more prevalent among the industry’s youth than among outsiders.
