Sometimes it is cloudy, sometimes it rains. Indian cricket fans do not like the weather in Guyana.till with a dream, a hope to see Rohit-Virat-Bumrah again.  One ICC tournament comes around, and each time the dream of becoming a champion slips away. Last year’s World Cup still makes fans think. Still with a dream, a hope to see Rohit-Virat-Bumrah again. And Team India came forward once again towards that unfulfilled dream.I tooky beat England by 68 runs in the World Cup semi-final. Took away the final ticket.

England won the toss and fielded first in the rain-hit semi-final. The sun broke through the clouds in Guyana. Kohli and Rohit started in a sultry mood. After hitting a great six off Topley, the ‘King’ was bowled by batting across the ball. Kohli’s poor form continued in the World Cup (9). But what’s the point of being a hitman? He started from where he left off in the previous match against Australia.

When the two batsmen brought the game in India’s direction, it rained again. The match was delayed for a while. Rohit looked equally brilliant when it started again. But in the end, Rohit (57) came back with a half-century, and Surya also came back with 47. An innings of four boundaries and two sixes is also remarkable. After that, Hardik Pandya (23) attempted a big inning. But after he and Shivam Dubey (0) got out back-to-back, it became clear that big scores were not coming. India finished at 171 for 7.

Is that enough in the rainy field? That was the question after the first inning. But those with Jasprit Bumrah can make the impossible possible. With three spinners. Where Liam Livingstone spins the ball one-handed, Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav will spin. And that happened. Magic to bring Akshar Patel! For the England batsmen, the matter was just going back and forth. Akshar took one wicket after another (23/3). He is also the man of the match. On the other hand, Bumrah did his job (12/2).

Butler (23), Salts (5) had to stop after a good start. The same goes for Moeen Ali (8) and Bairst (0). Harry Brook (25) was trying on one side. Just then, Kuldeep became the killer (19/3). The English batsman bowled straight while doing the reverse sweep. There is one last hope for England. Bucky Jofra Archer (21) played a bit of a marquee role, but it was no problem.

In the end, Team India won the match by 68 runs. It’s not victory; it’s called defeat. This time, South Africa is ahead in the final. Rohit is just one step away from the World Cup. The whole country is hoping. May the World Cup trophy return to India.
