A two-day national seminar on the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) was inaugurated at Tripura Central University in Agartala on Tuesday.
Addressing the inaugural session of the seminar titled, “Policy into Practice to Create a Knowledge Economy”, Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu highlighted the importance of linking education with research and innovation to build a knowledge-based economy.
The Governor stated that the National Education Policy 2020 provides a comprehensive roadmap aimed at developing an integrated, multidisciplinary, and inclusive education system.
Among others present at the programme were Acting Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University, Professor Shyamal Das, and Vice-Chancellor of the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, Professor Shashikala Wanjari.
