Vice President to attend and inaugurate Tripura Central University convocation

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan is set to inaugurate the 14th convocation of Tripura Central University at Suryamaninagar, West Tripura, on March 8. The event will also feature the presence of Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Chief Minister Manik Saha, Varsity Chancellor Ahmed Javed, and Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Shyamal Das. During the ceremony, gold medals will be awarded to the top performers among undergraduate and postgraduate students for the 2024-2025 academic years, honoring a total of 145 students from 2024 and 138 from 2025. Additionally, 149 PhD degrees will be conferred. The convocation has not been held for the past two years, creating challenges for students, and the authorities hope to alleviate these issues by granting certificates through this ceremony.
