Amit Shah Inaugurates Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan In Agartala

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday inaugurated the Joint Regional Official Language Conference (Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan) for the Eastern, North-Eastern, and Northern regions in Agartala.
The conference, which was held at the International Indoor Exhibition Centre, Hapania, aims to promote dialogue among people from different regions, facilitate exchange of experiences, and encourage wider dissemination of best practices related to the use and promotion of official languages.
Various central government offices, banks, and public sector undertakings were awarded for excellence in the implementation of the official language during the programme.
After arriving at the conference venue, the Union Home Minister also visited several exhibition stalls set up at the venue.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Department of Official Language, Anshuli Arya, Tripura East MP Kriti Devi Debbarman, Tripura West MP Biplab Kumar Deb, along with other dignitaries, were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Shah was received at the MBB Airport in Agartala by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, along with other Cabinet ministers.
