Gold futures rose: Rs 1,02,268 per 10 grams

New Delhi: Gold futures on Friday rose by Rs 168 to Rs 1,02,268 per 10 grams on fresh buying by speculators amid strong spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery rose by Rs 168, or 0.16 percent, to Rs 1,02,268 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 16,419 lots.

Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery in New York fell 0.20 percent to $3,410.09 an ounce.
