David Murasingh, Continuing His Long March

A growing number of TIPRA Motha leaders are joining David Murasingh in his ongoing foot march to Delhi, where he plans to press various demands, including the deportation of foreigners residing in Tripura. On Wednesday, two key party figures—Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma and Jagadish Debbarma, Chairman of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council—walked alongside him for part of the journey. Murasingh has already walked over 150 kilometers and aims to complete a 2,500-kilometer march to reach Delhi. Upon arrival, he plans to go to Jantar Mantar and seek meetings with central leaders to submit a memorandum supporting his demands.
