Silver futures prices rose on increased bets

New Delhi, May 7: Silver prices rose by Rs 59 to Rs 96,760 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as participants raised bets.
The price of silver contracts for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 59, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 96,760 per kg in a business turnover of 16,568 lots.
Analysts said fresh deals by participants led to a rise in silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.50 percent lower at $33.05 an ounce in New York.
