Ajanta Pharma Q4 results: Profit, revenue rose 11%; margins narrow

For the January to March period, Ajanta Pharma reported an 11% rise in profit to ₹225 crore as against ₹203 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue from operations grew 11% to ₹1,170 crore as against ₹1,054 crore in the same quarter last year.
Ajanta Pharma’s EBITDA or earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation grew 7% to ₹297 crore as against ₹278 crore in the same period a year ago.
EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 25%.
During the financial year, the company distributed a total of ₹700 crore (₹349 crore as dividend and ₹351 crore as buyback). This means 76% of the total PAT for the year was paid out.
Ajanta Pharma Ltd shares closed 2.74% lower at ₹2,690 on Wednesday. The stock has declined 10% so far in 2025.
