Tripura CM meets Amit Shah, JP Nadda, seeks more central support for state’s development

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Friday held key meetings in New Delhi with senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, to seek enhanced support for Tripura’s development and health infrastructure.

Dr. Saha first met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed the state’s development priorities. “Discussed key development initiatives of our state government and sought his valuable guidance and support from the Centre,” Dr. Saha posted on social media platform X.

Later, in his meeting with Union Health Minister and BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Dr. Saha, who also holds the state’s health portfolio, raised issues concerning Tripura’s healthcare sector. He urged the Centre to support the improvement of super-specialty services across departments and enhance overall medical infrastructure.

The Chief Minister also met BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B L Santosh and acknowledged his strategic insights in strengthening the party’s organisational framework in Tripura.
