The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) hosted Financial Literacy Week (FLW) 2025 with the subject “Financial Literacy: Women’s Prosperity,” and Tripura Governor N Indrasena Reddy was there. Governor Reddy also unveiled the posters for Financial Literacy Week 2025 during the event. The governor of Tripura emphasized in his speech the importance of women’s financial empowerment and its critical role in the advancement of states, communities, and the country as a whole. He emphasized that achieving the goal of making India a “Viksit Bharat” requires the financial empowerment of women.
Rakhi Biswas, Additional Secretary & Director of the Directorate of Small Savings, Group Insurance, and Institutional Finance; Surendra Nidar, General Manager (Officer-in-Charge) of RBI Agartala; and other prominent individuals attended the occasion. Since 2016, Financial Literacy Week (FLW) has been observed yearly, with a different topic and target audience each year, according to a news release from the RBI. The 10th edition of the FLW will take place this year from February 24 to 28, 2025.
