Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were called by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha to open the recently renovated Tripura Sundari temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas revered by Hindus in Udaipur, southern Tripura, according to a minister here. The PRASHAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive) program of the Union Tourism Ministry has refurbished the 524-year-old Tripura Sundari temple at a cost of more than Rs 52 crore, according to Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister of Tourism and Transport for Tripura.

The minister added that the building company would turn over the freshly renovated temple to the government, noting that the Tripura government had donated Rs 7 crore to this initiative. He claimed that the Prime Minister’s inauguration of the renovated temple would be evidence of the importance of the Tripura Sundari temple, which is a famous temple and a representation of the state’s rich cultural legacy in the Gomati area in southern Tripura. The official claims that Banduar, the location of the proposed 51-Shakti Peethas Park, is a peaceful village in the Gomati district that is encircled by rich flora.

There is also a peaceful atmosphere in the neighborhood. According to him, the park will have a number of features intended to improve the overall experience of visitors, such as a food court with enough seating, a gift shop, drinking water facilities, well-built roads with parking, public amenities, guest rooms, landscaped gardens, mythology-focused museums, and a variety of entertainment options.
