Champhai initiated a region Domination Patrol on Zote-Bulfek road on Thursday in response to particular intelligence regarding the flow of beer and cigarettes of foreign origin in the general region of Zote, Champhai, Assam Rifles, and Customs Preventive Force. Twenty cases of foreign-origin beer and nine cases of cigarettes were discovered hidden and discarded in the jungle during the operation. According to a news release, the confiscated contraband has been turned over to the Champhai Customs Preventive Force.
