Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), in collaboration with the Government of Mizoram and Zote Toyota, proudly launched its 67th Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) and the STAR Scholarship Initiative at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Aizawl. This significant move reinforces TKM’s commitment to India’s “Skill India” and “Make in India” missions by providing technical education to students, particularly from rural areas, and enhancing their employability in the growing automotive sector.

The T-TEP initiative will focus on providing specialized training in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and Diesel Mechanic trades, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge automotive technologies. The STAR Scholarship Program will offer financial assistance of up to ₹51,000 annually to deserving students, making technical education more accessible.

In Agartala, where automotive services are on the rise due to increasing vehicle ownership, the T-TEP program will address the local demand for skilled technicians. Graduates will be well-positioned to capitalize on growing opportunities in the region’s automotive service sector, contributing to the market’s long-term growth.
