ICICI Prudential Life Insurance’s mobile app, IPRU Edge, has proven to be a game-changer for its network of over 2 lakh advisors, resulting in a remarkable 37% increase in their productivity during the first half of FY2025. The app has also ensured timely earnings for its agents, with 98.1% receiving commissions on the same day, setting the company apart as a leader in advisor-friendly services.
The app, designed to function as a virtual office, empowers agents to focus on business development while minimizing administrative tasks. Features such as real-time KYC authentication and paperless processes using OCR technology have been particularly beneficial for agents in smaller towns and villages. As a result, nearly 50% of the savings policies were issued on the same day in H1-FY2025, contributing to a 49% increase in retail premiums from the Agency channel.
