Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attend the carnival

On Monday, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attended a celebration known as Meyer Gomon. The carnival organized in Agartala to commemorate the end of the Durga Puja celebration. CM Saha emphasized that the carnival has been held in the state for the past three years and explained the personal significance of the new location. The CM stated that the venue has been changed this time because the prior venue was very packed. There is also a history behind this new venue place.

The last day of Vijayadashami was celebrated with great zeal in Agartala. Durga Puja is Tripura’s largest celebration, and the enormous carnival commemorates the goddess’ departure from her earthly residence. Sharadotsav is an annual ceremony that honors the Hindu goddess Durga and commemorates her victory over the monster Mahishasur. Goddess Durga, according to Hindu legend, descends to earth during this period to bless her devotees.

During Maha Asthami, tourists flooded the streets to celebrate the magnificent event. Crowds from all over the region attend the state’s most important and anticipated celebration, which celebrates Tripura’s strong cultural and religious passion. Among the various Puja pandals, the Sanhati Club stood out. The pandal was designed with a large budget and features exquisite creative decorations and themes that capture the attention of tourists.
