Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha accused opposition parties of conspiring against the government during a rally on October 4. His remarks came on the heels of a recent rally organized by the CPI(M) and a procession by Congress, both demanding better assistance for flood victims and addressing concerns over deteriorating law and order in the state.

In response to the opposition’s actions, the ruling BJP organized a rally in the capital, Agartala, where thousands of supporters expressed solidarity with the government. Participating in the rally, Saha alleged that the opposition was misleading the public with falsehoods about the government’s performance. “They are spreading lies regarding our administration. I want to warn the opposition and urge them to stop making baseless allegations against the BJP-led government, which operates with transparency,” Saha stated.

Highlighting the BJP’s recent electoral victories, Saha claimed this demonstrated that the people of Tripura are in support of the government’s efforts toward their welfare. “Today, we held this rally to counter their propaganda. All the mandals have also organized similar events to expose the opposition’s agenda,” he added.
