Tripura’s Chief Minister, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, launched a blistering attack on the Congress and CPI(M) during a recent address to party workers in Agartala.  In his speech, Dr. Saha didn’t mince words, characterizing the Congress as “aimless and directionless” and asserting that the CPI(M) had been soundly rejected by both the younger generation and the broader electorate. He expressed dismay at what he perceived as the lack of a clear agenda from the Congress and criticized both parties for allegedly exploiting caste and religion for political gain.

Highlighting the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr. Saha emphasized the BJP’s commitment to comprehensive development and inclusivity. He urged party workers to rally behind Modi Ji in the upcoming Parliamentary elections, framing the contest as crucial for sustaining India’s developmental momentum.

Dr. Saha’s address resonated with the BJP’s overarching narrative of governance, focusing on reaching every household and uplifting marginalized sections of society. He reiterated the party’s dedication to prioritizing the welfare of women, youth, the poor, and farmers. Concluding his speech, Dr. Saha confidently predicted that the BJP would remain the preeminent political force in both Tripura and the nation for the foreseeable future.
