One Militant of National Liberation Front of Tripura Surrenders himself to BSF in Tripura

In another major development and happening, One unlisted and banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) Militant and Insurgent of Biswa Mohan front has surrendered himself before the BSF personnel at Gandacherra in Dhalai district of Tripura.

According to a Press community by BSF, another NLFT militant Chhanaklu Debbarma, resident of Sepahijala District, surrendered on last Saturday morning and decided to involve himself in the mainstream of the Nation. The surrendered insurgent Chhanaklu Debbarma has joined NLFT Biswa Mohan outfit in the year of October 2022.

Tripura has been insurgency prone for the last few decades. Due to the endeavour of central agencies and state authorities, in the recent past several cadres of NLFT Biswa Mohan opted to return to the mainstream of society. Such initiative will certainly motivate the misguided youths to leave the path of violence and agitation, the press community stated.
